The power is provided by 102 Lithium ion cells each of 100 Ah capacity. They drive a series wound dc motor through an electronic controller with a maximum current limit of 500 Amps. The front wheels are driven through a single reduction gear and differential, overall ratio of 5.45:1. Forward, reverse and regenerative braking are derived electronically from the controller.
